Graduated from the Department of Zoology of BSU (1992 г.). 2001 Ph.D. in Entomology (Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg ). Dissertation title: "Rather-morphological bases of the systematics of the weevil genus Polydrusus".

Morphology, taxonomy, ecology, biology and fauna of Curculionoidea. Taxonomy and systematics, comparative morphology, biogeography of weevil genus Polydrusus (Entiminae).
